Same with our residents.
They shouldn't sacrifice their family.
So our residents either freeze their eggs or they have their babies.
Our fellows, we make it easy for them to have their babies while they're training with us, if that's what they want to do at the time, because that's their optimal time.
We have to be more family-friendly.
We have to be more family-centric.
We have to be more supportive of women.
Yeah, men need to hear it.
We don't get a vote in this.
Women decide when a baby happens, if a baby happens, and with who a baby happens.
Why don't we just say, okay, that's the fact, and end the story, and now help women be able to have the right environment so they can have the best outcome for their life and their family, because if they have a good outcome with their life and their family and their babies, then we all benefit.
I agree.
It really is.
The message now, having done, I've been in this field 40 years, I've been a patient who's gone through it, so I know what it's like to fail, because it failed, and eventually succeeded in other ways.
But we need to talk about this.
Women need to know about it.
It's not to scare you, it's to help you.
It's to help you plan, because if you have a plan, you're going to be better off.
If you fail to plan, you're planning to fail.
That's not what you want to be doing.
