I was about four years old.
And my dad, so this was before we introduced temporary work visas.
We only had permanent work visas.
So you came as a permanent resident.
So there was an IT need.
My dad was highly skilled.
He was able to bring over his wife and his three children.
We settled in Sydney, suburban Sydney, bought a house, made it our home.
He actually died six months after.
We didn't get booted back because he wasn't no longer able to do that job.
