And in this bill, this act of poisoning, it set out that anyone who's convicted of poisoning would suffer a very unique execution and that's boiling to death.
And that's what happens to Richard Roos.

I always hate having to write about this, having to talk about it.
Because
you know, he made a mistake and he he two people died.
But the way in which he becomes a sacrifice for Henry's paranoia and dies in one of the worst ways imaginable is just too horrible to think about for very long.
I think it has a lot to do with stories that he's been told about King John.
One of the stories that's told about King John is that he is poisoned by a monk, uh, because John has defied the Pope.
And so I think Henry starts to get concerned, anxious, that someone might try that with him.
He's projecting his guilt, in other words.
Yeah, completely.
