It's giving you a little bit of, you know, activity, if you will.
Gotcha.
Now, that said, let's do the stairs.
Tell you what, actually, you go ahead and open the door.
And here's just one of those daily activities that becomes a little bit, you know.
I would use the railing.
Frankly, everyone of any age should use the railing.
And you can feel how the rise in the stairs are just, you know, sometimes a little bit more challenging than you expected.
Yep.
Down is often harder on your knees than going up.
And your vision should be distorting a little bit of your depth of field.
Oh it is.
And not being able to turn your neck as well as you'd like is also making it more difficult to judge just what your next step is going to be.
Oh yeah.
all of a sudden when the world starts to have a little bit more friction, whether it's going up or downstairs, suddenly like, you know, I might want to go downstairs, make a cup of tea or make breakfast or something like that.
I just don't feel like it right now.
So I think I'll stay in the bedroom and watch TV a little bit longer.
So suddenly now, what was once a very large world in your youth starts to compress and get smaller because the physical environment is not adapting to what you're doing.
And don't underestimate, and we're talking about the world getting smaller, it's not just about navigating stairs or the kitchen.
All of us worry about how people look at us in the world.
