If I think I'm a loser and someone, I say hi to someone and they just say hi and they look away.

Maybe this person lost their parent this morning.

But if I'm a loser, I will take normal data from the world and I will shape it.

If I have a positive identity, I will also do that.

It's evidence reinforcing the belief that I have.

It's actually not evidence.

My belief shapes the evidence.

The evidence doesn't shape the belief.

Yes.

And this is a huge problem where there are so many people I work with who are way too nice.

And they're compassionate and they're kind and they're forgiving.

And they get screwed time and time and time again.

You know, they think, oh, every human being on the planet deserves to be loved.
