So the biggest mistake everybody makes when they try to improve their health through diet is what I call the false choice.
And so you go from eating Doritos, even the high-protein Doritos, which just cracks me up.
It just makes me want to slap somebody, right?
It's like, hey, let's take other junk and add some casein protein and then act like it's a health food.
But if you're living on jelly donuts and Doritos and Pepsi Cola, and you're like, dude, I'm fat and diabetic and I feel miserable.
I got to clean up my act.
Good.
Yes, that's correct.
But then they make this false choice because it's so ubiquitous in modern society.
They're either going to say, okay, I'm going to start eating Mediterranean, which is predominantly plant-based and high-carb.
Or I'm going to eat the ADA diet or the AHA-diet, which is predominantly high carb and plant-based.
Or I'm going to start eating lots of whole grain bread instead of, you know, just the cheap white bread.
And nothing happens.
They spend a ton of money.
They buy this line of supplements.
They join a program.
They maybe go to their doctor, get a prescription.
And they really expend all of their willpower.
and a lot of their wallet power, and nothing meaningful changes.
Now, what do you do in that situation?
