The one thing that they don't own is the local rancher near your house.

If he's raising sheep or goats or cows and you buy from him, you are literally starving.
Big sugar, big ag, big pharma.
You're starving them, okay?
But if you buy something at the supermarket in the middle aisles,
where that's where they put the biggest markup, because that's what I was getting to.
If you make something out of grains, sugar and vegetable seed oil, it's shelf stable for years.
Rats won't eat it.
Bacteria won't eat it.
Fungus won't eat it.
So they can call it fresh, even though it's three years old.
They can make it in China, ship it over on a cargo ship, put it in a warehouse for six months, put it on the supermarket shelf for three to six months and still say, oh, it's fresh.
