And I'm actually in the thick of writing it right now.
So it's exciting to get to talk a little bit about adoption and what I'm learning.
And I'm even learning so much in the process of writing, which I hear from other authors, which is it forms you.
So I'm in a really exciting part of the process of this book, which is slated to come out spring of 2028.
Um, and I, I hope that it, I hope that it touches a place for adoptees that will make it easier to share with other people what our experience is like, but I also hope it'll open eyes of, um, people who have been part of the, it's going to address, um, kind of how evangelical Christianity intersects with adoption and some of theology, but also some of, um, the real truth of when we look at, you know, what adoption actually accomplishes, is it lining up with what we say it is on a church level or is it causing harm?
And so I hope to really address that as, um,
thoroughly as I can.
And I hope it's something that adoptees can take and hand it to somebody and say, here's the stuff that I've understood on an innate level that I haven't had words for.
That was really my goal with writing this book is to have a resource for adoptees to share with people in our lives to explain things that are maybe really complex and nuanced.
Thanks for the opportunity to come hang out.
I feel like I could also talk to you all day about this stuff.
There's so much, so much to it and so much change that we can envision.
And it gives me a lot of hope to talk about the hard things and envision a future where maybe those aren't a problem anymore.
