It is all about your relationships and how you can communicate diplomacy.

All of that work that we've done, like you said, over the last 80 years and just a move like this just crushes all of that.

But that is consistently what we have seen from the Trump administration.

They don't care about relationships.

These kinds of things happen.

This is nature.

So the cyclospora is a parasite.

It's found in human feces.

So anybody who gets sick with cyclosporiasis has accidentally gotten this human feces parasite in their food, probably from contaminated water or maybe from poor hygiene and the people who worked in the food prep area.

It's hard to know and it's actually really hard to track down.

This is why the CDC, the FDA, we've got things in place in the government so that when these things pop up, we can investigate it, we can isolate it, and we can stop the spread.

Unfortunately, when we defund those things federally and at the state and local level, we don't have the infrastructure in place.

We don't have the people in the places where they need to be in order to figure out why this is happening.

And then you add a whole other layer

of potential political misdealings with Taylor Farms, where they initially thought that this was happening, and then the FDA came in saying that this was a positive test that came from Taylor Farms.

No, wait, it was a false positive.

Taylor Farms has had some lobbying and dollars that have gone to the Trump administration, which makes us question whether there was some sort of a payoff thing happening there.

The whole thing is terrible, and people are getting explosive diarrhea as a result.

Yeah, well, it is hard to know what to believe.

And when our public health system is healthy and it's working, we don't have to think about this because we don't get sick.
