They're exercising.
They're doing all the things.
And sometimes those good sleep hygiene rules actually aren't enough.
Because if you're really struggling with your sleep, then it's not really about doing all the things right that's a problem.
Because again, think about a time in your life when you were sleeping well, you probably weren't doing all the things right.
You know, lots of people do all the wrong things, but they still sleep.
Yeah.
Often it's stress and anxiety about sleep itself that causes the problem.
So I suspect that by trying harder and harder to fix the poor sleep by, well, okay, I'm not sleeping well, so I'll stop taking caffeine, I'll stop alcohol, I'll stop this.
You're trying so hard, you're adding on more and more controls and doing more and more and more.
But you're actually creating a lot of stress about sleep itself.
Again, wake up in the night like we've covered.
It is normal.
But of course, if you're not sleeping well, when you wake up, the first thing you do is you look at the clock.
Oh, it's 3 a.m.
Oh, it's 4 a.m.
This is so frustrating.
Again, you're triggering yourself.
You're making yourself more anxious about it.
