They haven't had a lot of training, uh, or they want the the clients to be their friends or no, no, no, that's not right.

Not with their friends, but

Just to feel good at you know, you wanna make the client skip out the door.

The clients sometimes themselves expect to skip out the door and

Uh and we find this in work this difficult work in some groups and with in a schema work.

It's definitely not

Or EMDR, you're not skipping out the door necessarily after one of those sessions.

Um, so it's maybe an expectation as well, the client expectation is what goes on in the room in psychological therapies.

I think it's a shift in the training and

uh over the years.

But that as you said, that's a whole nother discussion.

But um so I think there's I didn't do think there was a reticence, but I think with good with good like back in the day in the with the sort of conferences we would have gone to the workshops, we would have done with the big names.

Um, you know, you do build the sense of confidence that you can do this.

You don't have to be an expert to have a go and lean into the work and you and if you trained in, you know, you do the good good training, then you actually have some confidence and self efficacy that you can do the work yourself.

And so when going gets tough, you just lean in rather than pull away because this is the work that needs to be done.
