They needed to have a small amount of motor input, so some messages getting down to their legs, but they had very impaired ability to walk.

So generally they could take a step or two.

And interestingly, scientists were finding similar results.

So hence, we've gone with the non-invasive, less costly version of this electrical stimulation technique.
