They're literally a trap lying in wait and anything that's going too fast or not looking where it's going or they fall into a cave, the remains do get concentrated.

Well, between the time that an animal falls into a cave and decomposes, skeletonizes, there's a lot of geological time between then and when we see it.
The best analogy I can give is an hourglass.

And by that, I mean that if there are some animals that would not fall into a cave by the way they behave, they're not on the ground long enough, you know, they're not going to be susceptible to pitfall entrapment.
And in the case of Narakot, the hands down world champions are kangaroos.
And if you think about that, it makes sense.
They're numerous on the landscape.
They're generally fast moving.
They're active in the sort of twilight to dark.
Like a lot of marsupials, they will not see the hole until it's too late.
