So some people get a bit of cystitis, it burns a bit and stings and they feel absolutely fine.

But you had kidney pain.

That is a red flag, actually.

Kidney pain and people could be stones.

But if someone then develops feeling cold, shivery,

That means you need to go to hospital.

It doesn't always mean this, but it means you've got possibly pyelonephritis, which means infection in the kidney, which you probably had brewing then at that time.

But it's very scary.

It must have been very scary for your husband as well.

I mean, urinary tract infections are very common.

In fact, most women have them at some stage of their lives.

I don't know the figures, perhaps you do, but I would have thought it's way over 70% of women have a urinary tract
