The first thing we do is we allow our eyes to soften.
So we hold a lot of tension in and around our eyes.
So we allow our eyes to soften.
And as we look straight ahead, without thinking, we just tune into the space all around us.
You'll notice that there's objects in the room, but there's a lot of space there as well.
So you just tune into the space.
soft eyes and then as we allow the eyes to be soft soft tongue we allow our mouth to be open slightly soft tongue soft eyes soft tongue as we allow our tongue to be soft what we start to see is the mind goes quiet
The soft tongue stops what's called sub-vocalization, which is essentially internal mental chatter.
Soft eyes, soft tongue, and now breathe down into your lower belly.
If that helps, you can place a hand there.
As you count down from five, four, three, two, one, and just settle in.
to your lower belly abdomen, soft eyes, soft tongue, and you rest here.
And then from here, you look.
And what most people will notice is immediately they're in the present moment.
The mind's more quiet, much more grounded and present and stable.
The mind's just available.
You're curious about what is here.
And then what I say to people is, from here, live.
From here, do your work.
And when you need to go to your conceptual condition mind to think on stuff, plan, reflect, access your memory, go back up to the front of the head to have a good old think.
