time with my wife my children etc but i would say over the years there's been a deeper movement towards more simplicity and what i mean by that is where am i creating a necessary busyness and distraction and what is that getting in the way of me doing that's even more important so movement towards simplicity
more spaciousness, and that's both not overscheduling, building in breaks, recovery, fun time.
And what I found is as I build more spaciousness, my mind becomes a lot more creative.
I'm a lot more productive, a lot more efficient as well.
I have a yoga practice.
So one of the teachers I follow is Sadhguru.
I've trained with Isha Yoga.
That has been a game changer for me.
So my day starts with that.
But I would say the most important practice throughout the day is what I call, and I'll kind of probably finish on this, the practice of being above the line.
It's my most favorite thing in the world to teach.
I did a two-year project with Google Cloud where I taught a thousand of their sales leaders
three fundamental practices and this was the first one i taught them and it was a two-year project and what they found at the end of it was it transformed the way many of them communicated collaborated together and actually also resulted in embedded performance as well and this was the practice i told them it's the practice of centering
and so basically what i say is in any given moment we're either above or below the line when we're below the line we really caught up in our head our thinking our stories our problems our worries etc it's a very familiar place to a lot of us right and we know what it's like when the presence of someone who's caught up in their head they're not there really right or we're above the line if we're above the line we're present we're engaged we're open and we're connected and so the way we shift
from below the line to above the line is through the practice of centering.
So I'll just guide your listeners through this, and this will be my kind of offering.
This is the practice of centering.
So we can have fun with this.
The first thing is to not to try to make anything happen.
So it's kind of good to do with a light spirit and to just really enjoy the experience.
