So this is a PR company that worked with Phil Morris to, we don't have to convince people smoking is good for you.
We lost it.
Okay, all we have to do is introduce doubt.
Yeah, maybe it causes lung cancer, maybe it doesn't, right?
And that's all you need for someone who's addicted to smoking.
to be like, well, look, they say it's okay, right?
And so now it's the same thing, right?
It's like we are bombarded by ads for fast food, for junk food, for candy, for soda, right?
At the same time, the science is so clear, but we're getting these mixed messages.
And you know, when you're, everybody wants to hear good news about their bad habits.
And so when there's like, well, this person says alcohol is good for you.
I mean, right.
And so even if all these people are.
And so that's all you need is it is.
And then you just kind of continue down your path.
Right.
And so that's what the 1964 did was just like, OK, there's scientific consensus now.
Anyone who's telling you that smoking is not bad for you is a paid shill of the industry.
And it's like this is like this is the established science.
Although, you know, it's hard to imagine that even happening these days.
