It's not, it's not a it's not like
something that that could be so comprehensive uh and overarching.
But it turns out, I mean, cause it touches on your money and your income, affects your work, your family life and mental health and physical health.
But
And I mean, the list just goes on and on.
It could really affect every area of your life and it it it could destroy everything.
And it's so, it's so sad for me.
It's part of the reason why I do the work that I do because
I am so motivated, like the industry ironically, is motivated to keep people gambling.
I am so motivated to help people overcome gambling.
The awareness is there all throughout.
And the the awareness is is met with a sort of defense, meaning we realize what's happening to an extent, but we also realize that.
Uh it's something that we don't want others to know about.
It's something that we're gonna have to hide.
Um we feel a great deal of shame about this.
And because of how gambling is designed, ultimately,
We trick ourselves into believing that we can solve this problem using the same thing that created the problem.
So for some people, there's uh you know events in their lives and maybe traumatic experiences and other things that have uh been quite stressful for them um before they even ever get into gambling.
But for others, it like a lot of that conversation.
comes because of gambling and it comes from gambling.
