And I believe that the the meaning of gambling also uh extends to just meeting meeting needs, meeting needs in life that don't feel met by other other areas of someone's life and experience.
So that
When gambling becomes about meeting certain needs around around the self, even self-worth, um, around someone's identity, around feeling even competent and even feeling validated.
Like those those are common needs that gambling can sort of meet in a weird way, that's where it becomes really meaningful for somebody as well.
It's both.
So it's about money.
Obviously, money makes it meaningful.
Money makes it meaningful.
But there's all these other layers too that I think most people aren't studying, they're not focusing on, they don't understand.
And I believe we have to continue to open this conversation to really get to the heart of what's of of what gambling is about.
Because money doesn't matter if we replace money with just units, let's just call it units, no longer money, okay?
I mean, it it definitely loses the meaning.
And it's funny because for people who don't necessarily have a gambling problem, they probably see it that way too, where it's like, it's not money so much, it's it's units, right?
It's something that's just, especially if I want to keep going, uh it's just it's manageable.
It's it's it's not the same currency.
But for people who kind of take it to, hey, money, money's a big deal.
But on top of that, the whole psychological layers in someone's life, their self-worth, their identity, all of that.
They're uh the emotional meaning, I mean, it's massive.
