Even their own family members, for a lot of them, wouldn't even know that gambling is going on in the background.
So for a lot of people, and it's quite interesting because I see that as a strength.
Strangely.
I see that as a strength because
If you can conduct a double life that includes a gambling life, that says something about like your capabilities because you're hiding that whole other life to the extent that when pe when family members find out, like I've heard many spouses or partners who found out and they were like, Oh, thank goodness, I thought you were cheating on me.
I th I I thought I thought that's that was the issue.
N now I get it, it was gambling.
I mean, you you could argue, I probably would argue that they were cheating on you with gambling because it it becomes a relationship in a very real way.
Uh that double life is in part what what continues the cycle and just keeps it going and makes it harder to come out because it's unrelenting.
It just wants you to keep going and keep covering it up because ultimately, again, the problem feels like the solution.
So the answer is let's keep gambling and let's keep that double life going and something feels right about that, even when something else feels wrong about it for the people who are struggling.
I see that as a massive positive because when you can leverage and again, like we we we talk about people even having experiencing trouble seeking help, but let's say you get down the the the path of recovery.
Let's say you can go from what I call gambling mode to recovery mode.
And let's kind of work with making that shift and making, like you said, more of that integration.
Then what that allows you to do is really build your really rebuild your life.
