What else is really important?
Some of the things that are really important in prenatals that are standout, one is choline.
Choline has really been shown to help with brain development of your baby.
And so have omega-3 fatty acids.
These are gonna be labeled in the prenatal as DHA or EPA.
And these are things that you can get from food, but they're a little bit harder to get from food.
So omega-3 fatty acids notoriously can be found in fish,
They can also be found in, like, chia seeds, flax seeds, seaweed.
You can get choline from eggs notoriously.
But some people don't eat eggs, don't eat fish.
And we really want to make sure that that brain development – I mean, conception is a miracle, right?
I know.
Egg and sperm come together.
This –
Embryo goes from a single cell, and then it's two, four, eight, wild.
By the time it implants in your body at five to six days, it's like 300 cells.
It's wild, right?
The process is wild.
So getting enough omega-3 fatty acids, getting enough choline, getting folic acid, those are probably like the three key, and the fourth one is going to be vitamin D. And now vitamin D is going to be in every prenatal in different amounts.
I actually recommend all my patients take an extra vitamin D just because so many people are vitamin D deficient.
