Now, we can have some signs of low testosterone.

So that first piece of the puzzle, which was the sperm production.

So having low energy, gaining weight, low libido, difficulty with erections, ejaculation, especially in men who are 40 and under, that should not be the norm.

And if we're starting to experience some of those, we certainly should get a workup.

just because i said earlier that taking testosterone can be detrimental doesn't mean that there's no treatment options that exist we can actually give medications that tell the brain to send out more signals therefore getting the testes to make more sperm and more testosterone at the same time what you should remember is that i want to get pregnant or i want to have kids we're trying now or we want to have kids in the future

You should not be taking testosterone, at least not without somebody who is checking semen analysis and making sure that it's not having a negative impact on your sperm.

And that's something that men need to remember.

Because unfortunately, there's a lot of places that will take your money and prescribe whatever you want without really asking the questions about your goals.

Can I ask you a really dumb question?

There's no dumb questions.

Number one, you can call any fertility clinic that exists and say, my husband wants a semen analysis.

The end.

We all do it.

You don't need a referral.

You can come in, get it done.

You can also see a urologist who is an expert in male hormones.

So a urologist can order a semen analysis.

If you happen to be sitting in front of your OBGYN, tomorrow you go in, you can ask your OB, and she can probably give you a referral for somewhere that can check a semen analysis.

But there's even online or mail-in options.
