But also this leads to you not being not being able to be a good citizen in the organization.

So, you know, those citizens

Citizenship behaviors, helping others, sharing information that could help others progress in the workplace.

So the this can happen.

But also being silent can lead to more destructive behavior, counter work productive behaviors in the workplace.

So not being able to do your task properly, not able to perform, for example.

I think that's that's really important to note.

But when these silent behaviors become

So like when everyone in your team or the majority of team, the norm is to be silent.

This can prevent um key information or key knowledge being passed on between each other, which impacts how we work with each other to reach our goals.

serving our customers, treating our patients, like a key a really nice example, thinking about nurses who have to work in shifts in wards and as a team to provide care to a patient.

If certain information are missing from one nurse and then the next nurse takes on the shift and they don't know, like this patient is allergic to this, for example, I'm just um bringing this up as an

example, this could harm the patient.

So all of this uh is a as a team effort as well.

We have to realize that by withholding information, this could impact the whole team and others outside the organization.

And the people we care most is the people we want to serve as well, right?

So um that's really important.

And then whisp when this becomes shared as a norm in organizations, we can see um it impacting

Um organizational performance, like the firms for performance, financial performance.
