So a lot of times it's kind of just following the tape.
What is it meaning?
What is this?
action, what narrative are you assigning to it?
And that will, I think, give us a great starting point because again, we're not often reacting to what's happening or not happening, just like where shame developed.
We're not necessarily reacting.
To some extent, we're reacting because mom or dad wasn't meeting our need in any way.
But what we're more emotionally reacting to is the meaning that we've assigned to us because we're not worthy that's gonna hit.
And probably be a wound that we then carry with us, inspire all these adaptations where we try to make ourselves worthy and exhaust ourselves doing it.
Right.
But that's that's where the wound came.
Not the action or inaction, so to speak, of the person.
It's the meaning that we made of it, especially when it's our own action or inaction.
One hundred percent.
And typically, right?
We're worthy, even beautifully said it been right to be loved, connected with, right?
Human need.
We never leaves us from childhood, even though we grow and we develop the ability to self-regulate, something we didn't couldn't do in childhood, can do it as an adult.
still feel safer with other people, still feel overwhelmed at time and are comforted right by a calm nervous system.
So right, still kind of have that exact same need hasn't necessarily changed, even though we've grown.
