On today's episode we have a very special guest and one who specializes in an area of ADHD practice that you don't hear a lot from on this podcast or at my practice.
But increasingly we are seeing many young adults inquire about services at Russell Coaching, and when I found doctor Bartarian, I knew I was going to slip up on this name, doctor Bartarian.
I was excited to talk with him about the work that he does and how he really is moving the field of ADHD forward.
So let me read you his bio and background and then as always we're just going to dive right into it.
doctor Bartarian is a licensed psychologist specializing in ADHD across the lifespan, with particular expertise in adult ADHD assessment, differential diagnosis, and evidence based clinical workflows.
Through Bartarian Psychological Services, he provides consultation, training, and education for clinicians, practices, and organizations seeking to strengthen their approach to adult ADHD assessment.
His consulting work focuses on practical, evidence based strategies relating to diagnostic interviewing, differential diagnosis, psychological testing interpretation, report writing, documentation, and assessment workflow development.
At the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, he serves as an Associate Director of Ambulatory Services for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, where he helps to shape outpatient care strategy and support the delivery of efficient, high quality behavioral health services.
His professional background includes extensive postdoctoral training in ADHD, more than ten years of clinical experience, leadership in ambulatory services, and
specialization in ADHD assessment and multiple awards for teaching excellence.
