What?
Um, how would you describe the experience of the person who's neurotypical in a marriage who is with someone who has ADHD or autism?
Recognizing first that those are two very different conditions and second that they often go together.
Um but
Speak a little bit.
I want listeners to feel heard if they're that person who is neurotypical, who has a spouse, who is neurodiverse.
And so what happens for that?
Neurotypical person.
Who's seeking that connection and that intimacy two qualities that you reference?

maybe develop some empathy for that, but also get their needs met.
All this is fascinating um and feels very spot on to me in terms of my own experience and and what I hear from other people.
Obviously working with students, I end up talking with a fair number of parents.
