I have an eighteen year old who just turned eighteen who

was the poster child for complex ADHD.

Um, has all the A's, throw a couple D's in there.

Um and this boy of mine is gainfully employed at a job that he loves, starting college full time.

And most importantly, he's a good human being and he's happy.

And there were times, Dr.

Stein, when

I had faith.

But I had doubts also.

And so I love that you've chosen to complete our podcast by saying ADHD is treatable and you can have hope, but you need to keep an eye on it.

You need to work closely with your doctor.

You need to adjust the treatment as the child grows.

You need to see

who in the family also might need to be treated and you all need to be getting good sleep.
