So in this case here, what we're seeing in this cave here is mostly related to agriculture.

So bringing gifts behind, leaving them behind for the rain gods to use so they can create the right amount of rainfall for the planting season.

In most cases, they tend to be seeds.

When they find them that they're preserved, they generally corn, beans, and squash is the most common that we see.

A lot of what happens in caves like this pertains to fertility and crops itself, and also a bit of sympathetic magic.

So you bring things that you're hoping to get similar to.

So you bring seeds and you hope you get agriculture.

And what about blood?

Are people sacrificing their own, offering their own blood?

So, yeah, we see mostly the upper class.

Of course, they're rich, so they can use proxy blood.
