So I've written a couple of papers on this.
Got a got another, two other papers on periopative guidelines on it.
What we do see in patients with chronic inflammation that there is an um there is some sort of uh dysregulation possibly associated with the histamine pathway.
And and the mast cell pathways, which does play a key role.
There's a lot of the medications we use in anesthesia can cause a histamine release.
For example, uh succinctoline, which is a uh a paralytic agent we use in commonly use every day in in in in the anesthesia as paralytic, can cause histamine release.
And so
It there's also evidence that some of these chronic inflammatory diseases can affect metabolism of the drugs.
And and we do see that with a lot of long COVID and vaccine injured patients.
That there's a lot of issues with not only sensitivity but also metabolism of of all sorts of dru of medications here.

Quite frankly, we should be doing more research
You know, you know that's that's an interesting question, Drew.
You know, years ago I I I did a I think it might have been in one of your shows.
I I talked about they're almost like two phases.
If we're gonna look specifically at let's say we're gonna talk about long COVID or any of these chronic inflammation, you have to put the fire out and regrow the forest.
So you got these patients that have been chronically inflamed and and what happens is all their the oxidative pathways, everything has been depleted, the glutathione and and all of those things with these these reactive species have taken over.
