It really is.
I mean, it's fine to do anything in the pursuit of helping your child.
But most of all, what I'm about is helping parents come to terms with who their child is and working through their levels of anxiety and self-blame and fear for your child's physical safety and fear about your child's future and feeling overwhelmed and social pressure from other parents.
These are the more
typical issues that parents face.
And when you face it, you will then be modeling a model of equanimity and self-regulation that, you know, your child isn't going to maybe pick up on right away, but you've set the model for future behavior.

Absolutely.
And this is something that plagues me all the time because there are so many children who fall under the atypical.
Well, as I said, you know, there's a great majority of identified children, but so many.
And obviously this can be a very costly process, but there are public options.
So, of course, there's regional center to start with.
Of course, there's your public school district.
They are obligated.
There are insurance coverage and certain HMOs.
You talk to your pediatrician.
And then there is support groups.
I'm a huge fan of support groups.
We are a social species and nothing is more comforting than
than being with people who have similar issues.
