Um and I always say the one who's always available.

Is the one who might be used.

You want to be available but not accessible.

And there's a difference.

Right.

You can always knock on my door, but it takes 27 minutes and 12 seconds to get back to your level of concentration that you had before the interruption.

So you cannot be accessible all the time.

You'll never get any work done.

So you wanna be able to put some boundaries around that as well so you can still feel needed.

but not lose control of your time.

Uh, no one is too junior or too senior to have office hours.

So you want to say, I am working and you figure out what your best hours are.

I'm a morning person.

My best hours are in the morning.

Do not interrupt me in the morning with a question that you could probably figure out on your own.

But every day at four o'clock from four to five, feel free to stop by with any questions that you have.

I am always available.

And if you're able to do that, it would be very helpful.

Now, you know, one of the the relics I have from

the the time of the pandemic is I put a sign on my door that said, do not disturb meeting in progress, because we were on Zoom all the time and you don't want somebody randomly walking in.
