And that spillover effect means if I'm a good worker.
And I'm doing work at a high performance level.
Guess what?
I've just raised the entire bar of excellence for the entire team.
Now everyone around me is going to start working at that higher level.
Now the opposite is also true.
If I am a toxic employee, that one rotten apple in the barrel, that toxicity resonates even further with on the team.
But the good news is you get rid of that toxic employee and it's almost overnight.
That toxicity exists on the team.
So you really want all the research is showing you really want to pour into these high performers before they leave.
Right.
So it's not about the number of hours worked.
You want to look at the person who is asking the questions that no one has asked yet.
You want to look at the person who is making these connections between ideas that no one else has seemed to make.
