All of that's confusing and unhelpful and makes it seem like there's some symmetry between the religious lunacy on the Israeli-Jewish side and the lunacy that is endemic to the Palestinians.
And there really is no parity there.
I mean, this is a completely asymmetric situation there.
The lunacy there is around a cult of jihad and martyrdom.
Hamas is explicitly a death cult.
It describes itself that way.
It aspires to death.
while fighting to create a global caliphate.
It aspires to genocide against the Jews.
They're absolutely explicit in these aims.
They're not hiding their
genocidal motives.
They're organized explicitly around a hoped-for genocide against the Jews.
But of course, the problem really isn't just the Jews in Israel.
This is a larger conflict against
the infidel West, or the infidel and apostate everywhere, really, I mean, within and without the Muslim community.
This is both a war against non-Muslims and a civil war within Islam.
And here I'm talking about not just Hamas, but jihadists everywhere.
