that followed October 7th, when people everywhere at our most elite institutions, 32 student groups at Harvard University, just tripped over themselves in their rush to demonstrate that they were on the side of people who would tie families together and burn them alive, right?

It should be mind-blowing to everyone that so many people were capable of not seeing the difference between people who intentionally murder

And people who would defend themselves against such people and in the process create the collateral damage that is now associated with every type of war, certainly any urban war.
Well, I think it does hold itself to a higher standard, and it's being held to the highest possible standard, and actually
impossible ones by the rest of the world.
I think the reality of what Israel faces in Gaza is unprecedented.
And we're talking about hundreds of miles of tunnels that took 15 years and billions of dollars in aid from the rest of the world to build, aid that was literally stolen from the mouths of the Palestinians for whom it was intended.
And we have a jihadist organization that is using its own civilians as human shields.
No one has faced this collection of problems.
And I follow the reporting of John Spencer on this, who runs the Modern Warfare Institute at West Point, who said that we haven't seen a...
any armed forces navigate a problem this challenging, anything like this well.
There's no reason to think America or the UK or France or any other democratic society would do a better job of trying to destroy a terrorist death cult that had just come across its border and murdered over a thousand of its civilians.
If this happened in New York and Al-Qaeda was in New Jersey,
You know, America wouldn't do a better job of this, certainly if Al-Qaeda had spent 15 years tunneling under Newark and holding everyone hostage as human shields.
It seems unfair to compare it to World War II.
