Now, you layer upon that reality the fact that Hamas is the worst possible enemy.
It is using its own women and children as human shields.
This is a completely perverse behavior that you almost never see anywhere.
There are no analogies that come to mind.
Jihadist groups do this routinely, but virtually no one else does this.
There's some version of this that happens in
in many guerrilla wars where guerrillas just disappear among the population.
But this is much more calculated than that.
