There's a plastic one that's easily cleanable and wipeable.
There's the bamboo ones for modern folks like you.
So
There are a lot of different varieties.
I think the biggest or the most common question I get is what size should people get?
And typically they're between seven to nine inches high.
So but it also depends on the height of your toilet.
Like I'm a shorter person, so I need a taller stool under my feet.
If you're a really tall person, you probably don't even need one that high.
So you just want to get your knees above your hip level when you're in sitting.
That's kind of the squat that we're looking for.
So when it comes to bowel movements, I would say the first thing is get the squatty potty, but also exercise is key.
Like these muscles need blood flow.
So we're all sitting too much during the day, getting up and walking 30 minutes a day or taking breaks between our Zoom calls, eating high fiber foods, drinking plenty of water and strength training.
Strength training and pulling in that pelvic floor muscle will help contract these muscles and strengthen them over time.
So
You know, these are muscles like every other muscle in your body.
You have to strengthen them.
You have to train them and have a good maintenance program for them long term.
But it doesn't take a huge lift out of your life to do them.
