I just thought, wow.
So if you can find out what's driving your imbalances, there's tons you can do to sort it out.
But my biggest problem is we never question why.
We lump everyone together and say, oh, they've got ADHD, like it's one big amorphous blob.
And it isn't.
There are different types of ADHD and different types of problems within it.
We just need to take the time to find out what they are.
It beeps at me and drives me nuts.
And I wish they didn't.
I'd rather leave it in there without the terrible beeping taking place, but I have to go and do it because I can't bear the beeping.
Okay.
And when they're talking about dieting, you see, that's kind of a broad term, isn't it?
Because
I don't much believe in diets about losing weight, but that's another whole story.
I think focusing on the nutrients your body needs, and then there isn't a lot of room to eat all the other junk anyway.
So I think that's definitely the place to put the emphasis as part of a long-term change to what you're eating.
So it's the stuff I talked about at the beginning.
Focus on protein.
Every meal you have, make sure you have protein with it, especially breakfast to control those sugar spikes.
Make sure you've got enough iron-rich foods and zinc-rich foods.
