I'm in kind of an interesting position because I have ADHD and I treat ADHD.
So like I could see my own personal lived experience and I can also see all the people that I've treated.
And I have like this incredible wealth of information because of that.
And I kept seeing this pattern of,
That for a long time, I was like, this is just me.
I'm just incredibly sensitive.
And then after my dad passed a couple of years ago, I was like, well, can't do anything anymore.
This is too hard.
We're done.
Like, there's no... Like, I haven't... And then that was really the point where I got to... And I know grief is so difficult for everybody.
But I got to a point where I was like, wait a minute.
Like...
this is the first time I'm actually piecing together how strongly my emotions impact my productivity and like my ability to function.
And so then I started looking into it more and that made me just more aware of patterns within my own patients.
