And it's just that, you know, that attunement to emotional information.
And I think what is so important to note about emotional sensitivity is emotional sensitivity and emotional intelligence are both kind of along that same line.
Emotional sensitivity, if you navigate it appropriately, can be emotional intelligence.
Number one, knowing about it.
Because I think just like recognizing it in yourself and having that verbiage, I think number one, it takes away a lot of guilt and shame because you carry so much of that.
Number two, I think once you actually have an explanation that agrees with you and that you actually relate to, then you can actually start doing the work to kind of figure out how to fix the problem.
Because if you're operating under the thing, I'm just really anxious or I'm just too sensitive and that's who I am.
It's not that there's anything going on with my wiring.
That's just a personality quirk and that's just who I am.
I'm the crybaby of the family, you know?
I don't think you can do a lot with that.
There's not like a lot of work that can be done.
But I think that what's exciting about this entire phenomenon and looking at it like a brain wiring kind of thing is that
brain wiring can be adapted and it can be changed and it can be enhanced and it can be malleable.
And so you can have this underlying neurological and emotional sensitivity and you can really navigate that and get a lot of those positives and stop like drowning in your own emotions.
It has not been an hour.
First and foremost, I think a child who has an ADHD parent is so, an ADHD child with an ADHD parent, I think is so lucky.
I think an ADHD...
a non ADHD child with an ADHD parent, there's so much joy and love and emotional expressiveness that comes about with that.
But I think an ADHD parent who's dealing with an ADHD child, there is that unique understanding where you are, you are able to say like from drawn lived experience that,
