Equally, you can drink all the tea and coffee you want.
If it doesn't keep you awake at night, it's not going to dehydrate you.
Studies have been done.
where people drank only tea, perhaps my mother, for 12 hours and they found that they were no less kind of hydrated than people that were just drinking regular water.
Just like 10,000 steps a day, two litres of water is the general sort of guideline.
Same with five fruit and vegetables a day.
Doesn't need no harm to drink more water.
Well, to a certain extent, or to take lots of steps or to eat lots of vegetables.
But these are general rules.
They're not scientific laws that you can go out there.
No, but if it hit you, you might want to go and kill the person who dropped it on you.
So another myth.
So the penny, of course, for those listeners who never maybe lived with the penny, like a one cent coin, it's small and flat.
And so if you drop it from a tall building,
um because it's flat it air resistance will effectively stop it from reaching a critical speed where it could really cause you damage um so it's kind of like a natural parachute it'll slow down so it'll build up to a terminal velocity and it won't get any faster even though it falls further but if you were to drop something like a bolt from the top of a building site or indeed if you were to take a pen and you're able to manage to get it to fall with the with the nib pointing downwards
Yeah, like the one you're holding, David, it could cause damage.
So like you do need to be careful.
That's why you wear a hard hat on the building site.
Things that fall can hit you with a certain degree of wallet.
But it's it's just a myth that a penny falling from the Empire State Building could cause instant death.
