Every medication, it has benefits, it has some risks.

And I don't want them to shy away from the most reliable, accessible birth control option because they're afraid of something or a post that they've seen on social media.

We have lots of other contraceptives for young women
that are reliable, much more reliable than these natural methods.
Well, one of the things that's really kind of gone by the wayside are diaphragms and condoms.
Those are considered barrier contraception.
Now, either one alone is about 80% effective, but together, they're actually quite good.
That's probably the least used options in young girls today, but let's not forget the sexually transmitted infection issue where condoms should always be a part of whatever that regimen is, so regardless of your birth control.

But we also have something that is really taken whole with young women, and that is what we call LARPs.
That's long-acting reversible contraception.
