We find these poems about different campaigns that she's led or that she's on.

So it's extremely important to her and it's something that's a huge number of volumes that she publishes.

From the terms of popularity,

We have reviews of her work by esteemed peers of her day that really value her poetry.

It sells very well and it is published and sold and distributed across Ireland and England, but also it's very big in America.

And she then starts publishing some of her poems in things like the New York Times and different respectable newspapers and venues in America as well.

So it's actually, it's applauded a lot during her lifetime.

And so therefore, it's kind of more surprising that it fades so quickly after her death.

It's really, I'm not totally sure, to be honest, why that's happened.

Because we have, and I couldn't find any details of it, but I did, you know, it's talked about the fact that, you know, in the 40s and 50s that it was actually on the syllabus in schools or something for poetry.

But I can't find evidence of this.

I haven't actually seen anything that proves this.

But certainly, there is people who I would know who were taught by maybe older nuns in an area that would have been taught Eva Gore Booth's poetry.

But because it wasn't on the syllabus, I think, is part of the reason that it faded.

Because otherwise, we're introduced to all the other authors, you know, true school.

And then you might start thinking, oh, well...

we'll start reading about their compatriots or whatever.

But it was also out of publication and it was out of publication from the 1930s.

So when Eva died in 1926, Esther Roper decided that she would, as Mary was saying, she worked with to ensure that all her work was published and kept in publication.

And she compiled an entire volume of her poetry.
