Yeah, um, good to see you again.
Um we we we we we caught up again in Berlin recently, which was great.
Um, and the first question I like to ask all my guests, particularly invited guests, is you know, there'll be a lot of people who'll be listening uh who might not know you, which would be surprising because you are a very popular character in the world of education.
But for those people who are not listening, uh maybe you can tell us a little bit about yourself, your background.
So on and so forth.
You've you've done very well to keep that within a very, you know, kind of tight time frame, you know.
Some people I ask, they could take fifteen, twenty minutes to answer that question, of course.
Um now you've you've you've you've made a few interesting points in there which I'll probably pick up on, but the first one I have to ask you
And it was interesting that you're aware of this anyway.
And I'd be surprised if you weren't aware of it, because you mentioned your work being published in different languages.
And your work does get cited a lot, particularly by classroom teachers, or educational practitioners, teachers, whatever you want to refer to at this point in time, but
I guess the obvious question maybe it's not an obvious question, but I'm interested in your thoughts about why you think your work is so popular.
Yeah, I I I would I would agree.
I think you've hit on some very strong points around, you know, language
for teachers to use advocacy around profession which is normally at the margins.
Um on in no matter what country or sector, you know, education's just generally at the margins.
Um yeah, so I I think you've picked up some really some some really strong points there.
Um
And and I and I think that's the feedback I also hear as well.
Uh I you know, um and obviously it also transcends, you know, kind of uh higher ed as well.
