So I learned from both of them.
And I do think that something happens in midlife where you all of a sudden realize, I'm not immortal.
And that sounds so silly, but I think when you're 20 or 30...
It's not on your mind.
Yes.
And that that feeling of like, I think midlife, what is my purpose now?
I'm seeing a lot of women, friends who are early 50s and they are living their best life.
Like, I love that.
I love that.
And so I feel like, you know, you know, what's really interesting, your viewpoint on aging determines your lifespan.
So people who have a positive view of aging on average are living five to seven years longer.
And I'm going to check the stats and get back to you on that.
But people, when they looked at them, like, do you think that aging is a good thing as opposed to are you scared of it?
Are you afraid that you're going to be a shriveled old person?
People who say, I'm looking forward to it.
So even just like this is where the optimism comes in is having optimism really is just positive life expectation, right?
That I do believe that the best outcome is going to be possible.
Like, what can she do for herself?
So first thing is when a patient comes to see me, I always ask them to get labs or if they have labs from their primary care doctor.
And what I'm looking at is vitamin D level, which all of us are deficient at living in the Northern Hemisphere, even if we are darker skinned.
