I think a key way to recognize a healthy culture is one that tolerates disagreement.
A a a culture successful on the surface
Tolerate silence.
But it takes a strong culture to be able to tolerate just f different points of view.
You know, watch what happens when something goes wrong, not just when things go right.
Healthy cultures surface problems quickly.
Superficial ones bear them until they're expensive.
You know, I used I worked for a really smart guy named Pat Martin used to say, Bad news is like fish.
The longer you let it sit, the more it stinks.
If people bring you bad news early?
That means it's a healthy culture.
If you have to wait the last one to find out, not so much.
Engagement metrics can lie, trust doesn't.
Trust shows up to what people are willing to say out loud in front of you.
So what would you say are the early warning signs that leaders should never eat in these days of of uh zoom calls, cameras off to me is a warning sign?
Means people are like going through the motions of actually being in the meeting, but they're really not.
Disengagement.
You know, the head nod, sure I'll do it and then not h not having not doing anything about it.
Absence of pushback.
A room that agrees with everything.
