That's how you tell the difference because they each have different treatments.
Interesting enough, the very best treatment for social anxiety disorder is back to the MAOIs.
They just take it away 95% of the time.
But again, most docs, younger than me,
have never, ever prescribed it, never been trained on it.
They're afraid of it.
I mean, they have these irrational fears.
You have to find an old codger like me who has experience with it.
The other place is, you know, if you have a DSM or just get online, look under the access to personality disorders and find avoidant personality disorder.
And you will see an exact description of ADHD.
So again, it gets mistaken as personality disorder.
As it has been forever.
Absolutely.
Just generally speaking,
The therapeutic response to RSD is prevention, prevention, and more prevention.
Because once it's happening, you're done and you just have to wait for it to run its course.
So if you're running on 10 out of 10 all the time, that's going to be exhausting, debilitating.
Learn to lead a life in balance.
Take good care of yourself.
And part of that, of course, is getting adequate sleep.
