And the Eastern philosophy or the philosophy approaches based on traditional Chinese medicine, it is always talking about early prevention.
However, that doesn't mean everybody in China does early prevention because actually nowadays, most people in China, they don't do early prevention.
They're even worse than the Western community.
But because I was growing up with my aunt doing a lot of traditional Chinese medicine treatment and also having qigong masters visiting her because she needed a lot of therapies.
So I was always also into the Eastern philosophy about treating the person as a whole person instead of just dissecting into parts.
And then you only treat the isolated system symptoms instead of looking at the whole body.
Where is the root cause from?
You know, sometimes when you have shoulder pain.
It actually may not just be muscular skeletal problem.
It can be also something telling your body is not nourishing your whole body well.
That's why it shows up in the shoulder pain.
So in that kind of sense, you know, we not only just treat the shoulder pain, because if you only treat the shoulder pain, that's also only for the symptom.
and that doesn't make the whole body's nourishment to your whole body's joints and muscles well, then you will have some other musculoskeletal symptoms popping up down the road if you don't address the root cause.
So that's basically the difference between Western medicine and Eastern medicine philosophies, because Eastern medicine is more metaphysical and always looks at the human body as a whole system.
And this whole system is also connected to the universe itself.
the universal energy and also the earth.
That's why in any Eastern longevity practice, we want to connect our body to the nature instead of just isolate our body thinking, you know, as long as we use advanced Western medicine technologies, we will be able to prolong our life and then also prolong our health span.
But if you isolate your body from the environment,
where we are in, you're not able to achieve the optimal health.
So, for example, like if you read about a lot of people talk about grounding, earthing.
