So this is the process that takes to great life.
And 70 years ago, we started a new era of humanity called the antibiotic era.
And it innovated with penicillin in the 1940s.
But then it became herbicides and pesticides and took us into a massive journey of destroying biosis.
The word antibiotic is truth in advertising.
To be antibiotic is to be against, to disrupt, to destroy the interconnected relationships that make life possible.
And so if this is right, which I don't expect you to believe yet, but if this is right, I should be able to map to you the exact way in which we've landed at this moment, which is at the crippled point of human biology globally.
chronic disease epidemics, infertility, threatening the very survival of our species.
So I'm going to take you through the last 50 years and look at the human race just as a metabolic framework, and we'll see if we can make some sense out of it.
