It's just how it is. You just know. So these guys would give me advice. Thankfully, they thought it was funny. And one guy, a lot of Chicago comics came through Cleveland. I would go to Chicago to do sets all the time. I wasn't a Chicago comic, but I knew all the good ones. I would stand there like this with my hand on the mic and just stand in front of it like this.

And I didn't know where to look and I didn't know what to do. And I was, what do I do to get over this? He goes, just pretend you're talking to friends in the living room. Then you can look right in the eye or look right at their forehead, top of their head. It's a good trick. Yeah, all these little tricks. Tell yourself you're in a living room. joking around with friends and treat it like that.
