I talk about this in some of the earliest articles I put up on my Substack, and it's worth kind of conceptually revisiting uh where we're at right now.

You wanna be found, you wanna be engaged with.

Um, I'm first off, uh I have to say I don't think throughout all of this, even looking into the future, I think SEO goes away.

Um I think the acronym, as we know it, search engine optimization, is gonna be archaic and SEO is going to assume new meanings as we continue to evolve, inevitable.

So I think for the reasonable lifespan of all of us, we can continue to call this work SEO and everyone will understand what it means, regardless of the platform or the landscape across which you are doing this, right?

Uh although if somebody can come up with, you know, a good acronym that accurately encompasses it all, um, that isn't already obviously attached to other concepts in humanity's existence, I'm looking at you, Geo.

Then I'm all for it, right?

Uh I mean bring on the new acronym.

Uh but for now, SEO.

Yeah, exactly.

Personal thing.

I really don't care.

If somebody wants to call it geo, go for it.

We know what we're talking about.

Uh but the point here is um how we get our information is changing.

That's the bottom line here.

And I don't mean you get it from ChatGPT.

Okay.

What I mean is in the world around us.
